Guest Post: Pantene Pro-V Red Expressions Conditoner.

Pantene Pro-V Red Expressions Conditioner is a lovely thick and creamy conditioner for auburn to burgundy shades of hair.

I felt it conditioned every single strand. The first time I used it, I put the product all over my hair, from scalp to tips. I wouldn't recommend doing this, as it left my roots oily. When used as a conditioner is meant to be used - mid length to tips - it was great.

There was definitely a difference to my dry, frizzy hair after a few uses. My hair became soft, shiny and de-frizzed. My curl settled nicely, and flyaways were significantly reduced! The hair tips no longer feel as dry or brittle.

There is no noticeable colour pigmentation in the conditioner, aside from the product being a slight peach tone rather than white. My hair is naturally dark auburn, and Pantene Pro-V Red Expressions Conditioner definitely seems to make my natural red tones shine through, almost like highlights.

The packaging is a nice size, and because you don't need a lot of product, it will last a really long time.

My only concern is Pantene's reputation for containing silicones, which if you colour your hair, can reduce the dye's absorption into the hair. This can be easily overcome by alternating your regular shampoo with a shampoo specifically formulated to strip product built up from the hair.

Overall, I love the way it tamed my frizz and how shiny it leaves my hair. I would definitely repurchase.
