The lovely Jade from Jade Musing recently sent me a little package of goodies including a couple of very familiar looking lipsticks. Turns out they're near perfect dupes for my recently purchased MAC lipsticks; Vegas Volt and Impassioned. This, of course, spurred me on to search for other dupes for the four MAC lipsticks I hauled. I found a dupe for Blankety too!

Swatched: MAC Blankety, Ciccone Hera, MAC Vegas Volt, Revlon Melonade, MAC Impassioned and Rimmel Pink Gossip.
As you can see from the swatches, they're near perfect dupes.
Dupe swatch: Ciccone Hera above, MAC Blankety below.
Blankety is more neutral than the slight purple that runs through the otherwise neutral Ciccone Hera.
Dupe swatch: Revlon Melonade above, MAC Vegas Volt below.
Vegas Volt is slightly more opaque than Revlon Melonade. It is the perfect dupe for MAC Vegas Volt.
Dupe swatch: Rimmel Pink Gossip above, MAC Impassioned below.
Impassioned is again slightly more opaque than Rimmel Pink Gossip. It is also slightly darker and more vivid. Pretty darn close, though.

Well done on the dupes! Impassioned is so stunning, as is Vegas Volt. However, I think VV would make my teeth look shit.

Great post! I really want to get Melonade and Pink Gossip after reading this. They look almost identical to the MAC shades :)
