Handmade Eyeshadow Palette.

I am almost certain everyone is terribly bored of me shuffling my beloved Inglot shadows around but I had to share this. I was this close to shelling out A$20 (without shipping) on a Z-palette when I spotted this magnetic palette on Etsy for US$12.99 (US$22.99 with shipping).

Yep, cool story.

The palette would fit 15 standard-sized eyeshadow pans (either round or square). It is just as long as the Inglot palette, only wider so just as easy to travel with. Unfortunately, I assumed the beautiful pattern that sealed the deal for me was protected with contact. Alas! It's just paper. I foresee this getting absolutely filthy in no time.

I love how easy it is to rearrange the shadows. The magnet is strong enough to hold in the eyeshadow pans sturdily yet it's not a nightmare to remove them.

In this palette, left to right, is:

Row 1
Inglot MATTE 355, NVEY ECO 172, Inglot MATTE 349, Inglot PEARL 420, Inglot PEARL 434

Row 2
Inglot AMC SHINE 30, Inglot AMC SHINE 31, Inglot PEARL 402, Inglot MATTE 344, Inglot PEARL 452

Row 3
Inglot PEARL 407, Inglot PEARL 405, Inglot MATTE 360, Inglot PEARL 419, Inglot AMC 63

  1. That looks really cute (although the round one looks a bit funny since it's so out of place haha!) but I like it! :)

  3. I HAVE ONE OF THOSE!! But I sucked at pressing my own eyeshadows, so it's a bit disused. I had no idea it fit inglots! squee!

  5. I've been after a z-palette for an ageeeeee but this seems like a really good alternative! I need to depot all of my Sleek palettes - I think it will give me enough motivation to use them! xx

  6. I think I'm too lazy to go through the whole depotting process. Plus I (used to ) buy products for their packaging, so seems a little weird to be then depotting them, least that's what I'm telling myself. This palette is cute tho. I was given a UNII one for xmas. At least the loose eyeshadows I gather from various places have somewhere to live.

    1. I know what you mean about buying for packaging. It's why I ignore MAC collections & Asian cosmetics (which have the most adorable packaging ever). x

  7. I think the little round one is a cutie, hanging out with all his square friends :) It's good to be different, after all. I think this palette is really sweet, I would definitely trash it so not sure how long it would last for me!

  8. Cute palette! I have a Z palette (and I do like it), but if I'd known of a cheaper alternative I would have gone for this instead!
