Yo Yo Bye Bye.

There was a time when a new lipstick would thrill me. A product release would have me effervescing from the mouth, throat gargling and without the mind for much else. I honestly couldn't think of anything better than the first swirl of a brush on the pristine surface of a new blush.

But I am a fickle creature. I have drawers bursting with products. Literally a lifetime supply. I believe it was with 10 products to go on my P50P that I realised my interest had waned (and the money I'd saved became apparent).

It's time to shut shop with eatpaintsniffglue. And in the words of that asshole, Mr Blunt: goodbye my lover, goodbye my friend.

  1. Oh no! Sad to see this blog shut down. But I totally understand what you are saying. It is very hard to enjoy a product when you are caught up in the race. I really hope you make your collection manageable and start loving the few things that work for you. It is more fun when you don't have to keep up with everything.
Will miss you! Good luck! xoxo

  2. All I want to say, is enjoy to the bone whatever you'll do using the $$$$ you'll have saved instead of buying makeup! One of the smartest posts (& moves), ever.

  3. I will miss your posts so much, I really enjoyed reading them for your unique voice and your way with words that made everything entertaining, honest and light-hearted. I think the time when a blog comes to its natural end or interest diminishes is inevitable - but what you've produced so far I'm sure people will come back to or discover for the first time for a long time to come. I hope you manage to enjoy what you currently have, and if you're writing anywhere else about anything else, please let me know as I'd love to read :)

  12. Aw, this was an exceptionally good post. Taking a
few minutes and actual effort to generate a top notch
article… but what can I say… I hesitate a whole lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.
