December Favourites 2013.

Illamasqua Cream Blusher Dixie
Previously swatched here. Summery in colour and texture, this beauty is slightly waxier than other cream blushes which allows it to last through sunscreen reapplication.
Original & Mineral Atonic thickening spritz
I love the post-beach waves salt water gives my hair, however I'm not such a fan of the weight. My hair is mermaid through the mid-lengths down, but pancake flat at the roots. Enter Atonic, for clementine scented volume. Atonic also contains Aloe Vera, which is fantastically soothing on an irritated scalp (a dip in the sea used to leave me in dandruff town).
Etat Libre D'Orange Divin' Enfant
This is not summery in the typical sense. Where others lean toward aquatic or citrus (ick) I pull out the headiest marshmallow and tobacco scent I can find. I will admit this is a huge no for a hot day, however one spritz on the back of each knee (nowhere else) for a evening garden party has people leaning closer.
Origins Drink Up Intense overnight mask
I hate when I give into hype, however I love when the hype is warranted. Quenches my skin's thirst after a hot summer day, smells of peaches and doesn't feel like a suffocating layer of cling film on the skin. When I slick this on at night, my boyfriend is likelier to call me 'fuzzy little peach man', which I hope is endearing.
Rimmel Scandaleyes eyeshadow paint Rich Russet
This does not budge and is gloriously, intensely pigmented. A swipe of this over each lid, blended with a finger is my go-to this summer. Zero effort.

  1. I still really need to try that Origins mask!

  2. Love the origins mask! Hype deserved. I have that Rommel eyeshadow and haven't used it yet. I'm going for it tomorrow. :)

  3. Origins Drink up is great, works well for me too x

  4. Totally agree about the Origins mask, too good and it is so attractive too. Love the sound of that O&M, where can you buy that brand online?
