November Favourites 2014.

Favourites of the previous month - how do you write these again?

La Roche Posay Redermic Intensive Anti-Ageing Treatment
Dip a toe into the abyss that is internet skincare information and you're suddenly indicted into the cult of Retinol worshippers. Put French on the tin and I'll gladly put it near my eyeballs. With daily use in place of an eye cream, I feel my under eye area is smoother and there's certainly less milia. I plan to smooth this across my orbitals for ever.

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush Exposed
I'm extraordinarily late to the party with this one. I snagged it from the lovely Gaelle during a blog sale, and am quietly pleased I did. I won't vouch for it's longevity claims, but it's a beautiful warm, subtle wash of colour. It pairs very nicely with bold lips of any hue.

The Body Shop Hemp Hand Protector
There was this game on my family computer when I grew up that I rather enjoyed. You were the Emperor of China in a bygone time, which meant you assumed all city building duties. When you built a hemp farm, you could click on the little man who picked up goods and he'd comment on the strange people working at the farm. This hand cream - which is the bomb, by the way - reminds me of this and makes me smile.

Alterna Bamboo Smooth Kendi Oil
I love this. It's one of those fabulous multi-use products. I drench my shampooed, damp hair with it as a treatment, run a few drops in the ends like a serum and even rub a bit into my fingernails as a cuticle treatment.

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Ole Flamingo
I am all about these Rouge Editions - they're super bright, long wearing matte liquid lipsticks. As the world moves on to newer, shinier things I am beyond contented in my little collection. Ole Flamingo is such a pretty summery pink, I have been loving it.

Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Moisturising Stick
The famous tub balm in a thinner formulated stick form. I am all about this, the fingerless application is what I want during the day. The fact it smells like honey doesn't hurt either.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz Medium Brown
My brows were complimented by a thirteen year old girl when I first wore this, which is how I knew I was on to a winner. There is no source of honesty so brutal as the opinion of a girl in her first year of high school. The fact she told me my brows were 'on point' furthers my assumption and shows she watches Youtube videos of girls drawing on their eyebrows and is something of an expert.

  1. I love the Tarte blushes, i have a nice little collection now. They do seem to last a lot longer on my than a lot of other blushes I own. I'm keen to try that eye treatment, it sounds great!

  2. Brows on point, now that is a compliment I would love to receive one day (you've reminded me that I need to tend to mine for this to occur, thank you!) I adore Exposed and find it lasts really well on me, as does the Bourjois Velvet - perhaps my favourite bright lip formula ever

  3. I have the La Roche Posay and actually use it all over my face. I'm a fan.

  4. That's actually a brilliant idea - I might address the pesky frown line I'm concerned with between my brows.
